چکیده

This work evaluated the process for heptaldehyde, undecylenic acid and methyl undecenoate production from castor oil, ester of oil ricinoleic acid. Experiments were performed in a continuous pilot-plant scale pyrolysis reactor. Those are very important green chemical products that might be obtained by thermal cracking oil. Transesterification produces ricinoleate its generates heptaldehyde. The temperatures tested 530, 545, 560, 575 ?C, with residence time 17 to 32 s mass flow at 400 g/h mixture materials 25% distilled water. It was observed temperature influence relation bio-oil generated their differences each material. characterized iodine index, number, mass, contents compounds GC-FID chromatography. best result yield desired occurred 530?C, achieving 17.8 % 16.5% For heptaldehyde highest also 530 value 20.7% 15.2%

Simulation of heavy-oil thermal cracking process on the basis of carbon number-based component approach

Abstract Simulation of heavy oil thermal cracking process is very important but few researches have been published now. In this paper, a simulation framework based on the carbon number-based approach(CNCA) has been established. A systematic division rule is put forward for dividing cracked products into 59 carbon number components. Then the cracking reaction network has been structured and the ...

A Pilot Study of Syngas Production from Bio-oil Thermal Cracking in a Bubbling Fluidized Bed Reactor

A fluidized bed reactor that is operating in the bubbling regime has been developed for the conversion of bio-oils to syngas. The reactor consists of a 7.6 cm I.D. (or internal diameter) bed, with an expanded freeboard. The volume of the reactor can be adjusted to vary the gas residence time. This reactor has been used to carry out either thermal or catalytic cracking for reforming bio-oils.A ga...

Production of Light Olefins through Gas Oil Cracking

Light olefins such as ethylene, propylene, and butylenes, are basic building blocks for petrochemicals. Further, these olefins are also useful for production of clean fuels such as alkylates – which have high octanes but no sulfur, olefins, and aromatics – or as octaneenhancers such as ethers. The conventional olefin production process is steam cracking of C2−C4 light paraffins from natural gas...

Sulfur distribution in the oil fractions obtained by thermal cracking of Jordanian El-Lajjun oil Shale

The extracted shale oil by the thermal cracking process of the El-Lujjan oil shale showed that the yield of oil was around 12 wt%. The amount of sulfur in this shale oil was found to increase (from 7 to 9.5 wt%) with the increase of the boiling point for different distillate fractions. Sulfur in Jordanian oil shale was found to be mainly organic sulfur with negligible amounts of inorganic sulfu...
